•CI/CD stability: replaced platform-specific build commands with cross-platform equivalents
•Added release workflow concurrency control to prevent conflicting publish runs
v0.0.10
2026-08-26
•Multi-session state engine: aggregation refactored into source-grouped state machines, tracking multiple AI tasks in parallel without interference
•Tray menu now shows each active session (source, status, elapsed time); tray title displays "Working (N)" when multiple tools run concurrently
•Stats dashboard: today/this-week/all-time duration & task counts, 7-day daily trend, and per-tool usage distribution
•Activity history: persistent timeline (last 200 entries) with source-based filtering
•One-click takeover: notification click auto-focuses the corresponding app (VS Code / Claude / ChatGPT / Terminal)
•Do Not Disturb: manual toggle, scheduled quiet hours, and "notify only waiting" tiering
•Notification content enhancement: bodies now include task duration and changed-file count
•Fine-grained notification control: done/waiting use different system sounds, desktop alerts fire only when out of focus, per-target independent toggles
•Remote notifications: Webhook (compatible with Feishu/DingTalk/WeCom bots) and ntfy.sh channels
•Custom watch targets: add tools beyond the built-in five via Settings
•Login launch and global shortcut support
•Minimum work-duration threshold (default 30s) to filter short-task notifications
v0.0.9
2026-08-25
•Process probe is now platform-aware: uses ps on macOS/Linux and tasklist on Windows
•Gated short-task notifications behind a minimum work-duration threshold to reduce noise
v0.0.8
2026-08-25
•Added bash Shell Hook support for precise terminal command monitoring
•Added fish Shell Hook support
•Improved test robustness for shell hook syntax and behavior validation
v0.0.7
2026-08-25
•Fixed Claude Desktop probe replaying pre-existing session history on startup, which caused false notifications
v0.0.6
2026-08-25
•Introduced Signal Authority mechanism: strong signals (session probes) suppress weak-signal (heuristic) false-done judgments during active sessions
•Unified source display names as the single source of truth for notification attribution
•Unit tests covering state machine, sliding-window, path filtering, and duration formatting
macOS install guide
One step you need after downloading
AI Watchdog is not Apple code-signed yet, so macOS may say the app is "damaged" or that the developer cannot be verified the first time you open it. Paste this command in Terminal to lift the restriction:
Terminal — bash
$ xattr -cr /Applications/AI Watchdog.app
Open Terminal (search for "terminal" in Spotlight), paste the command and press Enter. AI Watchdog will then launch normally.
